Guided by AEON Group's corporate philosophy of "Peace, People and Community" and to demonstrate its corporate social responsibility, AEON Education and Environment Fund Limited ("AEON Fund") was established in Hong Kong in February 1998 as a charitable institution to support and promote charitable community projects and activities in both Hong Kong and China, especially in the areas of environmental protection, education and cultural exchange.

AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co., Ltd. ("AEON Credit"), a founder of AEON Fund, donates a portion of its profit through AEON Fund to support various community projects and activities in both Hong Kong and China. AEON Fund is responsible for the coordination of these projects and activities, such as Hong Kong Tree Planting Day; Environmental Competitions for local primary and secondary schools; ECC AEON Environmental Study Trip Awards for Student Ambassadors; sponsorship to Tsinghua University – AEON Education Fund; and HKSAR Outstanding Students Selection.

AEON Credit also promotes social contribution through its business activities, such as (i) issuing of "Charity Cards" where a portion of the credit purchase amount transacted through the Charity Cards will be donated to charitable organizations; (ii) "Donation by AEON Bonus Point" whereby customers can use their AEON Bonus Points to make donations to charities; and (iii) "Donation by AEON Credit Card" whereby donations can be made through any AEON Credit Cards to charities. Through the above means, AEON Credit delivers the goodwill of many customers to charitable organizations. Furthermore, AEON Credit encourages employee-based volunteer activities, such as AEON Planting Seeds of Growth; Heart to Heart Project; and Eco-tour.

Since February 2008, AEON Credit has been awarded the Caring Company Logo by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service and Heart to Heart Company Logo by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, in recognition of its contribution to the community and the environment.
