Application of Funds


AEON Education and Environment Fund (AEON Fund) supports any charitable projects or programmes in both Hong Kong and China, especially in the areas of environmental protection, education and cultural exchange.

AEON Fund prefers to fund :
• Directly rather than through third parties or fund-raising events
• Specific projects rather than general funding
• One-off programmes or capital projects rather than ongoing recurrent expenditures

AEON Fund prefers not to fund :
• Individuals
• Other corporate trusts and foundations
• Open-ended recurrent expenditure
• Projects or programmes already underway
• Reimbursements

Eligible Applicant


Local and Mainland non-profit making organizations (e.g. green groups, community bodies,
and schools) are eligible to apply.

Application Method


Please submit the Funding Application Form to AEON Fund at least three months before the commencement of the relevant project by:

(1) Email to eco@aeonfund.org.hk; or
(2) Mail to AEON Education and Environment Fund at
      Units 2001-2004 & 2009-2018, 20/F., Miramar Tower, 132 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong

(1)   After receipt of an application, AEON Fund may request the applicant to provide clarification or supplementary information.

(2) In evaluating the application, AEON Fund will take the following factors into consideration:
• The reputation and established track record of the applicant
• Financial status, including level of support (if any) from other sources
• Objective, justification/proven need for project or programme
• Feasibility, planning, project co-ordination/management
• Comprehensive budget and cost efficiency
• Other funding obtained or sources approached
• Time-frame

(3)  AEON Fund may in its absolute discretion approve or reject any application without giving any reasons or impose such conditions as it thinks fit.  Applicant that does not hear from AEON Fund within 3 months may consider its application unsuccessful.

(4)    A successful applicant will be required to sign a Deed of Agreement which should be signed by the Head of the applicant with the authorized chop and return the original copy to AEON Fund. AEON Fund will send out a Confirmation Letter of Sponsorship to the applicant after receipt of the duly signed Deed of Agreement.  


Neither AEON Fund nor AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co., Ltd. (AEON Credit) shall have any responsibility, financial or otherwise, for any expenditure or other liabilities whatsoever incurred or arising from any projects or programmes.
