ECC AEON Environmental Awards for Schools

Organized by Environmental Campaign Committee and Education and Manpower Bureau 1998-2004

AEON Fund awarded Overseas Environmental Protection Study Trip to outstanding teachers and students participated in the Scheme of “ECC AEON Environmental Awards for Schools”. From 1998 to 2004, visits had been arranged for a total of 115 awardees to Zhongshan, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai and Osaka-Japan. AEON Fund staff and Home Environmental Ambassadors participated in some of the trips and enjoyed the learning and sharing with students.

Pledge made by all Outstanding Student Ambassadors prior to the award trip In 2002, 20 student awardees and 2 AEON Fund representatives joined a 5-day trip to Bangkok. The group enjoyed very much the 2-day program on the water quality investigation of Chao Phraya River
In August 2004, the environmental protection exchange trip was arranged to Osaka, Japan
