AEON Planting Seeds of Growth

Organized by AEON 1% Club (Japan), AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co., Ltd. and AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. 2007

To celebrate AEON 20th Anniversary and fulfill our mission in "Planting Seeds of Growth", AEON Credit organized a tree planting event with AEON Environmental Foundation of Japan & AEON Stores on June 16, 2007 at Tai Lam Country Park to replant trees on the slope area that was damaged by a 3-day hillfire occurred in November 2006.

More than 500 representatives from members and partners of AEON Group planted nearly 1,500 tree seedlings on the burned area of Tai Lam Country Park. Together we all recognized the importance of the message - Protect our countryside; Prevent hill fire.

The Project is part of the Corporate Afforestation Scheme supported by Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) – AEON contributed a total of 20,000 tree seedlings for the HK community.
