The Environmental Contests for Schools

Supported by AEON Fund 2002- 2004

To echo with our mission of promoting message on home environmental protection to people in Hong Kong, AEON Fund actively participated in the following three projects in cooperation with Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) and Environmental Protection Department (EPD).

The competition was organized by AEON Fund and supported by EPD & Education and Manpower Bureau (EMB)

Organic Plant Growing Competitions 2002-2004


A series of 3 Organic Plant Growing Competitions - Cherry Tomato Planting Competition, Native Tree Planting Competition and “Organic Farms in the City” Competition - organized by HK Trees Conservation Association, ECC, EPD and AEON Fund



Green Parent Contest 2003


The Contest was jointly organized with EPD & ECC. It attracted over 1,400 school students to submit their writing entries to nominate their parents as Green Papa or Green Mama

The Best Environmental Trip Reporting Competition 2004


The Honorable Guest, Mr. Rob Law, Director of EPD, presented the Certificate of Award to Mr. Chow Chun Him, champion of the primary school group on Nov 6, 2004 Certificate presentation to Ms Leung Ka Lam, champion of the open group

Mr. M.J. Stokoe, Deputy Director of EPD presented the outstanding awards to 4 parents and their kids at the HK Environmental Protection Festival organized by ECC at Chater Garden on Nov 15, 2003 Award presentation to 16 Green Parents and their kids--All parents become 3rd Home Environmental Ambassadors
