To celebrate AEON 20th Anniversary and fulfill our mission in ¡§Planting Seeds of Growth¡¨, AEON Credit organized a tree planting event with AEON Environmental Foundation of Japan & AEON Stores on June 16, 2007 at Tai Lam Country Park to further replant trees on the slope area that was damaged by a 3-day hillfire occurred in November 2006.

More than 500 representatives from AEON companies¡¦ members & partners planted nearly 1,500 tree seedlings on the burned area of Tai Lam Country Park. Together we all recognized the importance of the message - Protect our countryside; Prevent hill fire.

The Project is part of the Corporate Afforestation Scheme supported by Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) ¡V AEON contributed a total of 20,000 tree seedlings for the HK community.
